One of the unique things about being a planner in and around the Washington DC area is that you have clients from all over the world. I've had clients live in Switzerland, Amsterdam and now most recently Iraq! B&T are both contractors overseas at one of the military hospitals. We met only twice before their big day and did all our planning via email and Skype calls. They were blessed with fantastic weather, as you will see in the pictures below, and guest loved the venue overlooking the Potomac River! A big thanks to Michael Connor Studios for capturing these gorgeous pictures!

Today starts the wedding festivities for a wedding I've been looking forward to for sooooo long now. Kathleen found AVE through some mutual friends of ours. As it turns out, she went to school with some of our dearest friends. Kathleen and her mother have been so much fun to work with. The wedding design is a perfect reflection of Kathleen's style. I can't wait to see it all come together!! The weather should be so pleasant this weekend too. What's a better weekend in to have a classic DC wedding than over July 4th weekend?

C&A's Spring Wedding at Riverside on the Potomac

One of our favorite venues in Loudoun County is Riverside on the Potomac. The owner, Sherry, is an avid equestrian and old family friend of one of my best friends (and not to mention one of the sweetest people on the planet!) If you want an outdoor barn wedding in the country, Riverside is your place. Earlier this Spring I had the pleasure to work with Christina on her beautiful wedding. I loved all the rustic and vintage details. This group loved to dance! I love love love weddings with a full dance floor! We are ecstatic to share our first wedding highlight film on the blog! T&C's Spring Wedding at Trump Winery

Earlier this Spring I was able to plan a wedding at one of my favorite Charlottesville wineries, Trump. Tina was a blast to work with and her and Chase were so adorable on their wedding day. The couple was showered with love and excitement from their friends and family. Though the weather was less than ideal, the bright pops of color throughout the wedding looked amazing in the neutral colored church and landscape.

L & J's wedding at the Hotel Monaco, DC

These two might look very familiar because Lisa was out May Bride of the Month! Last weekend had the most beautiful weather and the entire wedding turned out just perfect! Take a look at this pictures below from our friend Abby from Abby Grace Photography.
