Meet your virtual designer! Ashlee Gilligan is an accomplished D.C. event designer sought after for her creativity, classic design aesthetic, and southern sophistication. Ashlee will equip you with helpful tools and suggestions that will allow you to design a memorable event without the cost or commitment of full event planning services. Her extensive industry knowledge and experience lends itself perfectly to virtually guiding clients across the country through their event design process.

This service is ideal for clients who are planning an event on their own (anywhere in the country) and need some professional guidance and design recommendations.

How it works:

  1. Submit the form below and Ashlee will contact you to gather more information about your event and schedule your kick-off consultation. Ashlee will provide an easy online payment link to process your one-time virtual event design fee of $500.

  2. Enjoy a one-hour virtual kick-off consultation to discuss your event design needs in greater detail and any logistical questions you may have with Ashlee. Ask her anything related to your event design questions during this call.

  3. Following the initial consultation, within 1-week of your kick-off call, Ashlee will create a micro-presentation that will include her initial design concept for your event and you will be able to access this presentation through her web-based planning tool. You will be able to provide your feedback to Ashlee through this portal for up to 1-week before Ashlee completes your final full design concept for delivery. Through the management portal, you will gain access to guest management tools and Ashlee’s helpful event checklists.

  4. After Ashlee has received your feedback on the micro-presentation, she will complete your full design concept within 1-week, which will include finalizing your design boards, rental/purchase suggestions (with links when possible) and ways to maximize your budget, theme, and design vision. She will include specific items that make sense for your event, which can include, floral arrangements and linen recommendations, invitations and day-of paper recommendations (with links to purchase online when possible), and any other items she feels would enhance your event.

  5. Once Ashlee has completed your full event design guide, she will make it visible in your event management account for you to begin using, and she will remain available for questions through the portal for 1-week. If you elect to order the linens and rentals Ashlee has recommended for your event, she will remain your point of contact for those services through your event date, but otherwise you will have the tools you need to execute a professionally styled event all on your own. Last but not least, at this final stage, you will gain access to discounts with Minted Stationery, BBJ Linens, Party Rentals LTD (available in DC only) and La Tavola.
