Many of our 2014 dates are booked and things are rapidly filling for 2015. Be sure to contact one of us for a free consultation so we can get your wedding design in motion!

Snow Day at Deep Creek

Has everyone been bundled up on this freakishly cold day? I can't believe it's the coldest day on record for the past 20 years! If it's going to be this cold I at least want a foot of snow to play around in. Speaking of snow, this past weekend Tricia went to her house in Deep Creek to celebrate her best friend's birthday! The weather was fantastic and they had a blast! Check out some of her pictures below!

Till next time, happy planning!

Welcome to the NEW Ashlee Virginia Events!

Happy New Year y'all! Tricia and I are so grateful for all of our fabulous clients in 2013!!

So many things happened in 2013! After 2.5 years of marriage, I finally changed my last name. We also just sold our home and are trying to build a house and horse stable so I can start showing horses again. Get ready for LOTS of interior design blog posts ;) Tricia's family built a beautiful home in Naples, FL and is ready to get down there for some beachfront weddings! AVE had some amazing features and photo shoots featured on some of our favorite blogs. It's unreal seeing our work amongst other vendors that we've idealized!

We hope you all like our new website and blog! I'd like to give a big THANK YOU to Rachel May Photography for the fabulous head shots of Tricia and I, and Earl and Layne for the BEAUTIFUL new brand and website. We will be blogging a lot more than about all things weddings, design, fashion, etc.

2014 is going to be our best year yet and can't wait to share it with you all!

Be sure to look out for the January Bride of the Month tomorrow!

Till next time, happy planning!!

Shabby Chic Glitter Mason Jars

DIY Glitter Mason Jars

Since I have such a knack for everything that has a girly shabby chic feel to it, I decided to create these adorable glitter jars. This country chic decor combines lovely glitter with the rustic touch of the ever so popular mason jar and the best part is...all the details are left up to you! This DIY project is incredibly easy and sure to dress up any table scape.

Step 1:
Be sure to buy Mod Podge and a foam brush

Step 2:
Buy any color glitter that matches your theme

Step 3:
Paint the glue onto the bottom part of the jar and sprinkle the glitter on top of it. Then make sure to place the jar upside down to dry.

Step 4:
Fill the jar up with either water or white sand and gently set the tea light on top. Top it off with a pretty silky ribbon and tie it around the neck of the jar!

And there you have it - VOILA!

Until next time...happy crafting.
