Available for pick-up only in Fauquier County, Virginia.
Our family raises Black Angus cattle in Fauquier County, Virginia, about 40 miles outside of Washington D.C.
how do I reserve a side of beer?
Email us at ashlee.virginia@gmail.com to see if we have any sides available or to be put on a waitlist. To confirm an order, you’ll be sent a $500 deposit which is credited toward the cost of your side.
What happens after I pay the deposit?
Within a month of your butcher date we’ll send you a “cut sheet” to fill out. This tells the butcher the types, thickness, number you want in a package, and weight of the various cut options. If you want to see an example of a cut sheet or need help, we’re happy to help!
How do I get it home?
Due to the volume of sales, we ask that you pick up your beef directly from the butcher. It will be vacuum packed and ready to go directly into your freezer. If you are unable to pick up your beef, please let us know. We recommend brining two or three large coolers.
How much freezer space do I need?
For a side of beef we recommend a 20 cubic foot freezer.
How much does it cost?
Our sides of beef are priced per pound off the hanging weight at the butcher. We aim for our sides to be around 350 lbs. Our costs are inclusive of all processing fees. All processing and butcher fees vary with the market, so please contact us for a price!
