Two weeks ago I had my first wedding of 2017 at the Inn at Willow Grove. It's been SO amazing only taking on mostly partial and full planning clients as I've been able to dedicate more time to them and give everyone involved a better experience.
Read MoreBrennan and and I have been working our tails off at the farm trying to beautify the farm. When we built this house, about three years ago, we literally only had 6-7 trees on the property. We both love old houses surrounded by mature landscaping, so we are trying to make our house look a little older and not so "new construction".
My favorite plant in the entire yard is the azalea that is from our house in Beaufort. My mom brought it up shortly after we moved in and this year is the first year it's bloomed! I was so worried it wasn't going to make it, but seeing those bright pink buds start to show this Spring has given me so much hope for our little homestead!
For our five year anniversary we had a big party at our house with old and new friends. It was so much fun to see everyone get together again. We had the theme- Hunt Country meets Lowcountry. Brennan made a Lowcountry Boil and we had an amazing bluegrass band play music all night! I love, love, love hosting friends over here! I could do this every weekend!!
Read MoreOne of my most favorite brides of all time was Erin. Both her and her family made me feel like such a part of their family the planning process was one of the smoothest and most fun ever!! She and her groom got married at the beautiful Four Season Hotel in Washington D.C. Their ceremony was at their home Catholic Church in Alexandria. The staff at the Four Seasons was wonderful!! Amaryllis Floral and Event Designs created the most amazing floral design and provided the perfect rentals to compliment the space. Jodi and Kurt Photography photographed this timeless event and I don't think I"ll ever get tired of these images!! Seriously, I wish every wedding was as amazing as this one!!

Working onsite at events and just being out in beautiful Virginia Hunt Country region everyday, I'm constantly seeing all this amazing imagery but was lacking the professional look to make it match my brand. I mean you guys know how much I love my donkeys and showcasing them on Instagram ;) The workshops attendees were a mix of industry and non-industry folks, which is just what I wanted!

All of the place setting pieces were part of her family's personal collection. I've never seen such a beautiful collection of unique china and glassware. Our friends, Jodi and Kurt Photography and my studio-mates Nature Composed were the perfect partners to make this come to life.
