Happy Thanksgiving friends! I have so much to be thankful for this year including a healthy, and happy family and a great tribe of friends! My studio in Middleburg, Virginia is full of the most supportive and FUN vendors, turned friends! We had an early Friendsgiving at the studio that was so much fun! If you haven't been out to the studio it's one of the most fun places to shop in town!!

Read MoreEarlier this month we teamed up with Petals and Hedges and Julie Ha Calligraphy for a holiday workshop. Attendees created beautiful holiday wreaths, learned calligraphy, and Tricia shared holiday party etiquette. Tricia worked with Morgan, at Petals and Hedges, to create this beautiful winter tablescape. With this unseasonably warm weather it still doesn't feel like Christmas has already come and gone so I'm going to look at these pictures by the amazing Vicki Grafton Photography and pretend to start the holiday season over again!
Read MoreThis past weekend, a very close friend turned 30! About 30 of his closest friends flew down to Austin to surprise him. I haven't been back to that part of Texas since I moved to Virginia in 2002 (and wow, that makes me feel OLD!). Austin is such an easy, walk-able city. Tons of small boutique shops and delish restaurants! The weather couldn't have been better. My husband and I rarely travel so we had such a great time away with friends and cannot wait for our next trip this winter!

Tricia and I had SO much fun connecting with other creatives talking about what works for us (and what doesn't!), going over workflows, contracting, etc. Over the past year, education has become such a critical part of our business model! Not only to teach, but to continue learning ourselves! This is something I wish I started earlier! Seriously y'all- continuing education is a MUST!!
